Strapmasters is dedicated to historical hand made straps for wristwatches.

Strapmasters straps are all hand produced in Italy and France by the finest craftsmen using the finest selection of Calf, Shark, Crocodile, Python.

Strapmasters also produces hand made straps using other material like, Carbon Fibber, Kevlar and Cordura and others.

From 2004 Strapmasters has three lines of products: Strapmasters, Torpedo and DZ (Dino Zei).

Strapmasters fine selection of exotic straps are for most treated using a unique and exclusive vegetable and biodegradable (chemical free) process Hydro48 (tm) to render our watch?s straps submersible (water-proof ) for a period of up to 48 hours this in soft or salt water. This process as proved several times to be non-irritating even to those who had experience severe allergies.

As well are producing wristwatch straps Strapmasters provides its own selection of ardillon buckles, sewed in or removable, polished, brushed or PVD coated. All buckles are made of stainless steel 316L or 18K gold. Each of buckles is hand finished and engraved with a logo representing the product line of Strapmasters watch straps.

Upon request, Strapmasters also provide an extra service to engrave straps and buckles to other company names and logos. This far Strapmasters produces watches straps for Panerai watches and instruments, various military wristwatches, IWC watches, Franck Muller watches and Audemars Piguet watches.

Strapmasters welcome professional and private enquiries for small or large quantities. Strapmasters is not selling directly to any of the watch companies here referred and all Strapmasters straps always carry their own identifications.

As a individual/Private: When making your Strapmasters strap selections, please take into consideration the following key choices:

• Non-Padded, Single Padded or Double-Padded

What the 26/26, 24/24, and 22/22 means is that there is no tapering at the ends of the straps.

We will be stocking straps in the following 4 sizes:

• 110/65 mm (16 to 17 cm /6.3-6.7in wrist size)

• 115/70 mm (17 to 18 cm /6.7-7.0 in wrist size)

• 120/75 mm (18 to 19 cm /7.0-7.5 in wrist size)

• 125/80 mm (19 to 20 cm /7.5-7.8 in wrist size)

Please note that having a Padded strap may affect how the straps fits on your wrist, you may consider going up a size if you choose to have padding.

Our watch straps for PANERAI wristwatches.

The Brelli-Ciampi Family was commissioned from 1938 onwards by Giuseppe Panerai to manufacture the straps for Panerai watches.

It was discovered in 1993, when the first watches for that year were delivered to the Marina Militare (Italy), that there was a problem with the straps not holding up in salt water. Col.Dino Zei, who was the CEO of Panerai at the time, contacted Ciampi and asked to do whatever it takes to make a leather strap that would be able to survive a 24 hour immersion in salt water. Ciampi answered that challenge after much hard work with a unique, natural process that met Col Dino Zei's request.

A few years later, Panerai was purchased by Vendome/Cartier. Cartier was interested in Panerai Watches and Compass (instruments), and left behind some very ingenious, innovative and interesting business together with immense know how.

In the new Venture Strapmasters ? Ciampi, the former water-proof process is replaced by yet a more environment friendly solution using vegetable and biodegrade ingredients giving birth to a new formula Hydro48 (tm) developed and registered by Strapmasters. Any straps by Strapmasters strap that are marked Hydro48 (tm) will sustain immersion in soft or salt water for 48 hours.
