All goes this fast that at time it is difficult to take the time to enjoy my hobby.

As many of you I have enjoyed watches for a very long time, and like many of you I started with the basic type of watches and climb up slowly as my finance would allow.  After being experienced in my watches likings, my chosen complications were mostly long power reserve and GMT, as well as many other feature like water-resistant etc... I remember in the 90's documenting myself on minute repeater watches and I had concluded that they were of no use for for me, they were to me solely a display of the finest capabilities and craftsmanship.

Some time ago, thanks to Jaeger-LeCoultre, I re-discovered that complication. JLC came up with an astonishing aesthetic presentation for their latest minute repeater which is coupled with a 15 days power reserve.  The watch was appealing to me because of its cosmetic and because of its 15 days power reserve, but I thought... minute repeater, nah not for me. and its price...

To cut a story short..., unexpectedly (truly I did not plan this) I ended up with a brand new JLC Master Minute Repeater.  Rapidly, I thought that it will have to go.  Then I decided to give it a try for a few days, an expensive try, but I had to! (lol) you know what I mean right?.

From the first time I saw that piece, I found it terrific in all aspects of it, I could not fault it, this apart for not truly appreciating or understanding the use that complication, this till...

The morning after I started wearing this piece (some months ago now), I woke up, my eyes were blurred (as usual, I am ageing...lol) I could not focus for a moment which is a pain, it's a guessing moment to read those hour and minute hands to find what time it is, but I remembered to have on my wrist a minute repeater, I activated it and heard the time helped by those gongs, a true and pure moment of magic!

The first morning, every morning after and in dark times, that magical tune and that gives me time has conquered me forever.

What do I now think of minute repeater, simply said, how did I ever lived without one!  If ever needed I would get rid of all my other watches before letting this extraordinary master piece of engineering, music and culture.

I just and simply LOVE IT!
It is to me a perfect companion, and it will accompany me from now to my very, very old days, YES it is a keeper, my time keeper!

Anyway, today I had a bit of time, I made a few shots to share with you a true companion.

Sir Yves?

Now, you're really Sir Yves, you have THE watch.

I love these stories, not to say, fairytales, about watches you didn't even consider at the beginning, due to its price or its philosophy.

Yes, My Lord, you finaly came to the way of the Truth! LOL

For me, this is the nicest Minute Repeater that I ever saw, and I saw some.

A modern reinterpretation of a classic complication, with the final touch of this 15 Days Power Reserve.

A pure treasure I also have the chance to own, in Titanium....I'm not as rich as you, My Lord! LMAO.

Keep it for the rest of your life and enjoy it, the watch derves you, and you deserves the watch, indeed.

Hear soon about you, my Friend.
