Please help me choose, new PP Nautilus line:
both attractive steel cases, finally at 44/43mm!!!
5980/1A or 5712/1A?
Cheers,
Asi
Hey,Asi....))))
You have some funds???
lOL
Go on the chrono version....More original, balanced.
The 5712 is quite the same than the 3712...Bigger.
I'm ont very happy for those who bought the 3712,thinking they made a good deal...Now ,their watch is less valued.
Just OUR 2 SHECKELS!
tough for them,,,they can always pass it on to their wife,,,LOL
:)
5217......5218....)))
RMLAO!
Not an easy choice, but it all depends on what RU looking 4 >
Both models are really nicely executed & evolution of the original design with added exclusivity of their new in house movements.
IMO if you want something more sporty & classic Patek style (and I am not talking boring base yet again ;-) ) I would say 5980/1. With the new self-winding, column-wheel-controlled caliber 28-250 C chronograph movement & that "One-Eye" design from the 5960p will be a classic IMO.
Now I know you like exclusivity, but if you also would like "a bit" complications (subsidiary seconds dial at 4 o’clock, a power-reserve indicator between 10 and 11 o'clock, and an analog date at 7 o’clock with an integrated moon-phase display from the 5055/5085) on a "sports watch" all packed up in a truly different then seen before design placement then 5712/1A is the one for you.
5912/1 If I would be the one to choose it would depend also on what I want this watch to represent. For the sporty choice in the spirit of Nautilus I would have to go with 5980/1. On the other hand if this would be my first & only Patek (quite possible with the favorable larger case size & sportier less stodgier attitude) I would go with the more complicated 5712G - Yes the white gold version :-) Why? Well spending all that dosh I might as well go with the best plus having a precious material Patek with quite daring design needs to be worn on a strap (which I prefer anyways).

Patek Philippe
I fully agree + the fact that the 5712 looks better,,,
it all comes to seeing them in the flesh, which would most probobly never happen anyway :)))
Anyone with MSRPs? The gold versions too please...
I also wonder if a strap can be fitted on the steel model..?
::)
Yup seeing them in flesh will be probably easier then understand
ing the MSRP that I hear strats @ $20K. No official info on pricing though.
Hey Milan, the chrono is 26150 euros...
+/- 32000 USD...OUCH!
An official and NAAAAAARDIN PRICE!
5712/1 with strap...
.
For me 5980!)))
more attractive than the 5712 that is a bigger version of the 3712,and the 1st Nautilus chrono , with a house made movement!
the Chrono dial is even more balanced than the 5960,because it has no date!
u mean day/month?
5960 is a dream, but too small and too expensive :)
I kind of think a steel 5960 in 43/44mm would be my pick!
Cheers bro - see u soon!
Yep,Asi,Day/month....
Esthetically speaknig I just think it's not the nicest thing on this 5960...That's the reason I prefer the Nautilus Chrono.
HEEEY,BTW,See you very sooooon,now!
Travel safe my friend,
Nkoumouk!
