spell insecure for me ...don't know exactly what was Zenith thinking throwing all these design lines together ! Their new direction sometimes seems very conflicting although at the same time I have to say I admire their efforts to try something new ... but is shock value always the right answer, well at least for me in this case (pun intended) I think not.

Nicky better see this thing in person ... I mean the watch not the model ;-) LOL
Maybe its the models I am attracted too yes LOL >>

They are rather handsome and would make anything look good.
Well you have to admit they tried something extreme but I cannot see a lot of people go for it either actually!
If they guy comes with the watch - I'm in :) nt

If you are up to that speed, I am sure we now have plenty time to catch up ON THE LOST TIME.
Never mind him, it's an illusion, I am better... LOL, well at least you could make me believe that :-(

All this dirty talk on Skype has made me a Baaaaaaaddd girl!

Of course that model would be a second-rate substitute for the real deal, but what's a girl to do?

Love and the left one,

Val

It has been sometimes that Zenith is trying to find its new image, going from a Swiss Traditions to a sort of a fashion statement is not an easy task, and it seems that Zenith isn't for everyone anymore.

The prices!!!, ouf, well over the top for those Zenith Defy's series, as for the X-treme Tourbillon, I just can't find my words. Undoubtedly a lot of developments has gone onto these watches, a legendary Chrono, a Tourbillon and 1000 Meters, so much into something that may be short lived…

Still tough a radical direction I agree, but keep or make your own identity is the key to an eventual long term success. In the recent years the BRM trend to over-design (or to roll mechanics) for an allege market found its success, personally, I would leave most of that style for those highly rated fashion brands or newcomers as opposed to gain a short lived success, but and again I am not a luxurious group needing to satisfy shareholders.

As for the those Zenith timepieces 'Defy', I think it is too much of a style and wear liability as opposed to what I would expect a Zenith Watch to be about. Frankly they aren't for me.

Yves.

recently posted a question as to why we do not hear more from everyone about Zenith in general...

I am really starting to like a few of them..

However this one seems very forced and un-natural in feeling...

Just my opinion of course..

Cheers
