A Collection of watches is made of limitless sentiments and reasons. I selected the above based on brands which answer my expectations as a collector.

There are a few other brands that should be here listed, only in my experience of watch collecting they come after, even if at times I find those other brands more interesting, more passion for their product and answering better my need as a one watch only.

In the recent years, many brands have lost ‘The Family Business’ to be merged into large luxurious groups, when I think about this last, it takes away from me that dream where I see that time is passed on and on. And, I think that today this last explains the immense trust placed in Vintage Watches.

Yves.

it is got to be Rolex #1...

but I'm afraid not to be very original:
AP: when you don't have it, you want one,and when you have one, you put other watches! LOLOL! Exception: RO city of sail SS chrono 2OO3
Breguet; Classy and sporty watches: you MUST have only one!
Blkancpain: an old fifty fathoms
Girard Perregaux: not only to be original, but they do lovely watches, and it's a TRUE manufacture
IWC: But only manufactured calibers
Jaeger Lecoultre: An original reverso, and some new stunning watches are...THE TOP + the memovox polaris (1965)
Lange: hummmmmmmmm!
Ulysse NAAAAAARDIN': Not only for the name, but a very original and stunning brand: To discover ABSOLUTELY!
Panerai: All the pre V and some rare vendome models
Patek: AAAAAH, the worldtime, the 10 days, the 5970,the Celestial....
Rolex: All the sports models,except...the daytona.
Vacheron Constantin: some are very interesting
AND MAYBE some new like FP JOURNE, PARMIGIANI,... but I have to know them better before judging them.
Nice list, no???
Oh, I did completely forget about PARMIGIANI >

Of course Parmigiani has to be counted in my TOP brands list... All in house and 'privately' own, that speaks volume to me. Beside I have an XL Hebdomadaire which I enjoy a lot!
