howzit folks .
as much as i like the spontaneous 'anyone up for a chat?'-posts, can we maybe institute some sort of weekly chat time when folks can tune in on a regular basis?
we could make an elaborate poll about this, but maybe it's just better if yves imposes the chat time dictatorially :o)

Thanks Johannes, I agree with you that post about chats should not start invading our forum index.
(imo), it is best that each of us, simply and directly checks who's in that mad and wild house. However, a post from time to time is also good as it invites the new comers to interact too, which perhaps that had no idea about.
We could also have a recurrent given day and time of the week to gather in that chatroom and make it an evil place ;-)

If posting is the use and chatting is the exception. So once a week, at a certain hour, it will be great to make ... THE EVIL'S HOUSE of our chatroom!
posting may be, IMO,the principal activity, because it allows each of us to share infos, advices, thoughts, pics in a continuous way. The chat is ephemere. My 2 old francs!

... and suggest ... well, i'm kinda free on tuesdays, at 9pm EST rofl ;o)
anyways, personally i would prefer to have this weekly date. or we could have a 'chat day' with two chat sessions, one in the morning, one in the evening, to cater to the different audience in their respective timezones.
OK, so not to keep rambling forever without a concrete suggestion, i will throw out an informal chat date on thursdays at 8pm est.

Tuesdays is a perfect day for chat : one in the European evening and one in North America evening as well.
Let's try : 12PM EST/ 7 PM EST - Euro Chat and 8PM EST US based Chat!
