Can we do better?
Whilst the information posted is highly enriching, it seems that some of dates and pieces (wristwatches) you listed are conflicting with other info I have at hands.
For example, in many of publications, it is reported that the first appearance of Alberto-Santos-Dumont wearing a wristwatch was in 1907
As for other they are as far as I know modified pocket-watch and not wristwatches.
What I would like us to find and (I for one personally find this subject highly interesting), is the firsts wristwatches born as wristwatches!
My hunt started and I hope that you and all other will help to develop on this subject.
