…truly authentic & rustic French cuisine even with stuff I haven’t event imagined before (celery root soup with cream & little pices of rendered bacon & herbs)
Yup that’s UN GMT Perpetual glued permanently to my wrist :-)
Again we had a peculiar looking server who really didn’t understand the portions ;-)

…beside the great food I bet you can guess why I liked the place! ;-)
We all really enjoyed this fantastic lunch so much ..
4 friends, 4 different tastes, 4 different watches, variety the spice of life!
Did I mention that there was wine everywhere!! HIC ;-)
Then we jumped into crookmobile on our way for a little watch shopping/sightseeing
…sightseeing in this speedy Alfa GT was brief cause we had a final destination in mind …
Place Vendome watch stores. One of the nicest photos I captured & it kind of looks like I am flipping you all off! ;-)
We meet our buddy Antoine & started to hit all the favorite boutiques…
…unfortunately as VIP’s we didn’t wanna be tacky & take pictures inside ;-) We were crushed
almost crying at the thought of not getting anything new from them …
…but the fantastic reception by the fine staff of JLC well made up for it …
…in addition to royal treatment received by Patek I finally ended up scoring something …
After hitting practically every watch store in the area we left Nico & continued on a little shopping & later on a bar tour with Antoine ..
… we ended up having one of those long term drink sessions…
…of course always including some laughs & always present discussion of watches.
Due to our decision to extend our stay we had to pack & switch hotels.
But all was good cause we made it to Moufftard & did our shopping for a long planned picnic…
…yup there was anything we could carry & that we wanted to try…

…all situated at the nearby beautiful park actually ancient “Arena de Luttece”
While walking down the Champs Elyse we encountered a lot of car manufacturer’s major boutiques (containing everything from cars, concepts & merchandise) which I thought to be rather cool as it was a bit strange.

Sometimes all this walking made me feel as my feet were on fire ;-)
…that taking a break & to enjoying the moment was sometimes the best part…
while riding on the Metro was always welcome.
I liked that Paris was extremely dog friendly & you could see a cute pup almost everywhere you went…
…of course there were other kitties I didn’t have a chance to see ;-)
My favorite part was definitely the luncheons we always had with our friends …
..the laughs ..
… our tres joli women …
…ahh & the omnipresent & constantly awesome FOOD! ;-)
… even the dessert waiters are highly efficient! ;-)
And of course us talking more watches
Sandy got into it & was finally warming up to this one ..

..while Antoine was enjoying & digging his Logo…

…soon the girls bailed the nerdy watch talk & went shopping ;-)
…while we hit the café bar before the last big night out..
