The Minute hand Circa 1690, Following the immense step forward of the Huyggens invention (the balace spring), Daniel Quare invents and introduces the Minute Hand, this helping the reading of the hour divisions. Hands are made of: Steel, Gold, Silver, brass and often are luminous using: radioactive paints, Traser, Luminova, Super Luminova. Yves.
