I saw it and tried it on when I was in Geneva (April 2006). I always liked that watch. About this newer version; the material felt strange on wrist (ceramic oblige) but it is well balanced. I like the hands too, but having known that piece for so long with the other hands, it takes me a while to accept the newer look. The cordura band is well made and agreeable on wrist. What I did not like: 3 dates showing at 3, pushers and winding crown in steel colour. Overall, a fine piece to be owned amongst a limited 999 others
Whilst writing, I realized that you just reminded me that I am still looking for the first version of the 'Doppelchronograph' in 18K. Why the first? because of the domed crystal. The usual, had it, sold it, had it again, sold it again... and now, time will tell, but chances are I will get one again. Yves.
