2. The new JLC Master Minute Repeater in Titanium - Power reserve scale on the right of dial, date scale on the left & Tourbillion window at 6 o’clock position all packaged in an IMO a more improved & radical execution of this ruthenium plated skeleton dial design ;-)
My first impressions were WOW!!! Compared to the old dial design & avoiding way too many inscriptions on the dial plus adding fully skeletonised dial to fully show the full intricate splendor of the movement. The radical change of materials and the dial didn't just stop there look at the new & IMO more attractive easy to view through sword hands, changed fonts & totally different (also IMO more pleasing) color scheme of the whole piece. All in all more sporty, modern re-edition that I must say I love! Imagine that new 44mm Titanium case and the new sounds resonating from it - music to my ears.
3. VC Malta Chrono – white gold, highly decorated handwound movement (based no Lemania 2320 chrono movement) with a silver textured guillochage and applied numerals dial with 2 subdials. The way they executed little details such as lug shape & curvature, chrono pushers & crown, to deployant crest buckle just on another level. Again just 41.5mm dial yet looks & wears much larger. The oldest manufacture of the big three and I bargain as compared to others.
Needless to say the hand wound Cal 1141 is really something else to talk about – enough would be just looking at it.
