Specially those that are about my time >
I have many watches that fall in that criteria 'thinking of selling but never did' because of what they are, because they have an history of their own, because they serve a specific purpose, because they are related to an event or friendships, or simply because I loved them at the time I wanted them. I have a few, even 'stupid' watches that I just do not part with for those said reasons, they revive some sentiments or values that are personal.
On the contrary, (private watches), many watches I buy I often resale. Because they do not tell me my time, it is hard to explain (at time I feel stupid trying to) but I need to connect with my time-keeper, if not, then no matter what it goes somewhere else, till it finds the person to whom this piece will tell a special time...
