I only know very few things about it...

In 96/97,an expedition with some British , German,and norvegian scientifics,periodists and artists,went to a Norway territory in Antarctic,To examine the ice in this part of the world...

Rolex Norway gave for free to all these guys an Explorer II...This one is part of them,given to a periodist called Nils LUND.

Sor Rondane is the name of the mount in the Antartic.

i have to do some more researches about it,and keep you informed...

Nice to own a watch with such  a story,no???
