you guys asked for it...here they are....a small review?...what can i tell you?...i love the legibility of the dial...and for those of you that know my taste in chronos, you realize that i love a dial without the numerals to be "chewed" by the subdials...the unmistakable bluish tinit of the antiglare coating like on the Ingenieur...the combination of polished steel with brushed steel...on the case...on the buckle...pushers vs the crown...i don't quite dig black dials with white date...like on the Ingenieur...but this Pilot hits it right with its day/date on the black background...the nice luminova on the hands and on the triangle at 12 plus the lines at 3, 6, and 9...the strap is 20mm...a little bit stiff, but in time will soften...the buckle is simple, but with very elegant lines...although is only 42mm, it does appear larger with quite a presence on the wrist...the pushers work smooth and all the chrono hands line-up perfectly in the rest position...then it is the price...what is not too like there?...such a beautiful piece for less than $3k!!!!!!!...in my opinion a winner!!!!...and a perfect combo with the Ingenieur....you know the feeling when you're in love with a new piece?...that hits you deep inside when you wear it?...well, that's what i get with the new Pilot Chrono...i don't have this deep feeling for any other watches in my collection...yes, i like my Fiddy for the design and for the size and its gold hands...I like my Inge for its beautiful dial and hands shape and heft on the wrist (half a pound!!!)...i love my Dornblueth for its blue hands and very limited edition and the connection that i feel with its creator...you get the idea...but none of them give me that warm feeling deep inside when i wear this new piece... enjoy the pics, adrian
