I am new as well to "collecting" as for me it was & is all about wearing & enjoying them. After a while though you certanly end up piling some pices along your quest for "the one" and there are those decisions to be made. I sold my very first "good" watch - Daytona in order to get into my last passion of Panerai & never looked back. I n hind sight it probably wasn;t the smartest $$$ decision I made but HEY it was smart to me at a time. Without it I would have not been here so I do not regret it a bit. NOW back to your question - yes I have considered dumping many pieces that I own yet I am still finding valid reasons not to. I'm sure the time will come when I will not have any reasons to support that claim, mainly not enjoying them as much & THEN it will be the right time for me to move them. Specific watches in question were pretty much all that I owned. ;-)
