To hard to generalize on such a topic... I prefer the graceful aged Patina "T" on historic Panerai's over the newer pam's cause I collect these watches for the history not the practicality...there is nothing particularly "practical" about a Panerai in general... If I want a watch that "glows" in the dark than there are far better options out there including some very inexpensive alternatives. I am often confused by "panerai" lovers that look at the watch as the "only" watch for "every" purpose... Kind of like saying sneakers are perfect for "everything"... Cheers Mark
