ah, it was fantastic....5 days relaxing in Rome...then visiting Geneva with its watch stores...and in the end a visit to Jaquet Droz boutique and manufacture...visits at three independent watchmakers...oooh, that completely changed my view about watch collecting and buying...after this trip, i don't think i'll buy another watch from a big manufacture....i'll stick with J*D and with the individual watchmakers.....it was so much fun to have two fantstic dinners....one night we had Mr. Emch CEO of J*D and his Product Manager with us...an insight of the new models and the strategy for the future of J*D....and second night dinner with Peter Speake-Marin, Max Busser, and a new and young watchmaker by the name of Romain Gauthier (we were privileged to be the first people to see his new creations)...
i'll post more about the trip when i can sleep normal hours and after catching up with the work and after resizing and modifying all the pics i took...
