CARTIER foresees a good market for its two new watches, Santos 100 and SantosDumont, said managing director of Cartier Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, Alain Bernard.
The new Cartier watches were launched recently at Suria KLCC in conjunction with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Santos de Cartier.
The occasion was also a tribute to the aviator, Alberto SantosDumont.
The new watches, which were launched in Paris last month, have also been launched in Singapore.
According to Bernard, there will be a ready market for its new watches, which come in different colours of yellow, white and pink gold and alligator skin straps.
The watches are priced at between RM14,000 and RM35,000.
“Some 10 pieces of these new watches have been sold nationwide,” said Patricia Phang, boutique manager of Cartier in Suria KLCC.
According to Phang, the new model is only for men and the model for ladies will be in the market in September. – Bernama
