JULY 07, 2005 - Paris -- International luxury goods company Cartier has tapped Frédéric de Narp to replace Stanislas de Quercize as president and CEO of Cartier North America, effective Sept. 1.
De Narp began with Cartier, a division of Compagnie Financiere Richemont, in 1991, and has worked in various retail positions for the company in Japan, Switzerland and Italy. Most recently, he served as CEO of Cartier Italy, overseeing 16 boutiques and 165 of the brand's authorized dealers.
As previously reported, de Quercize will take the reins as president and CEO at fellow Richemont brand, Van Cleef & Arpels International in Paris, starting Sept. 1.
Richemont's luxury watch and jewelry brands include Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Alfred Dunhill, Montblanc and Lancel, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Piaget, Baume & Mercier, IWC, Vacheron Constantin, A. Lange & Sohne and Officine Panerai.
